Harry Kelly, a native of Scotland, came to Ireland in 1981. His musical background lies with brass
bands and he has conducted bands in the Championship Section of the The Scottish Brass Band
Contest. He became musical director of Ardee Concert Band in 1982 and under his guidance, the band
has reached it's present high standard. Harry is also musical director of the Lourdes Brass Band
and Mullingar Town Band! An accomplished player of many brass instruments, he has also become a proficient flautist which prevents this webmaster from getting away with anything!
